The speakers work great! They are small, light and do just what they were advertised to do. We are very happy with them and use them alot.

I own a 2007 MacBook and ever since I bought it I have been bemoaning the fact that the speakers can’t project worth crap. I did buy a pair of standard small speakers for computer or stereo use—-the kind you have to also plug into a wall to get power—-but was frustrated by how un-portable they were. One day I was browsing around on Amazon and I found these speakers and thought they would be the perfect solution to all my lame-speaker-problems. However, being the poor starving college student that I was, I didn’t buy them. This Christmas (after two years of living with my computer’s original speakers), I received them as a gift and I cannot believe I lived for so long before without them. They are exactly what I imagined them to be! I should have bought them for myself when I first found them and sacrificed that really cute jacket I wanted to buy instead
.
The sound quality is very impressive for such small speakers. The fact they plug directly into the USB port is definitely the #1 point in their favor. Obviously, if you are wanting to blast music loud enough for a party, you should probably use larger speakers but for personal laptop use it doesn’t get much better than this. Everyone I have shown them to has also been amazed by how well they work. If you have lame speakers and you want to improve the quality of your sound-life, I say don’t hesitate and get these now!

These speakers are absolutely perfect as far as I’ve been able to tell. Most importantly, they’re amazingly loud. I can’t turn the laptop volume past halfway before people start to yell at me.
The sound quality seems great, but then, I’ve got pretty bad ears. I’d look to the other reviews for information on the sound quality.
My only concern, and it may well be unfounded, is the vertical stress on the USB port. Since these speakers curve upwards, the only support they have is the USB port itself. They stay exactly how I position them, but I worry about the stress it puts on the USB connection to the motherboard. Of course, I’ve had these for well over a year and haven’t actually had any problems.
Plus, they’re really tiny. They’d probably fit in a laptop ‘sleeve’ if you didn’t mind a wee bit of scratching.
The single greatest reason to buy these, though, has nothing to do with their quality. It’s that they look just like E.T’s head! Seriously, it looks like he’s peering at you from behind the screen.

I saw this at a Sony showroom in Singapore while I was travelling there on my honemoon trip. I loved this product, but it was not for sale there. They did not know where they bought it from, and I kept looking for this at every small/big computer accessories store, but could not find it. One day, my friend Sumit found it for me from Amazon, and I bought it. Thanks Amazon and thanks b-Flex, I love this product. It is so convenient and works great.

I was terribly disappointed with the lousy sound on my new laptop. so I searched Amazon for speakers. They arrived today (13 days after I ordered them?), but I believe it was worth the wait. Fabulous! I agree with another reviewer that if you’re an audiophile these might not be for you, but I was truly amazed at the difference. Do not hesitate to order if you hate that tinny sound on your laptop.

I read the luke warm and negative reviews for this speaker but ordered one anyway.
This is one cool device. Those writing negative reviews: get real.
Sure the sound is not studio quality.
However, it greatly surpasses computer built-in speakers and now makes listening to music at my desk enjoyable rather than a chore.
For the price, you can’t really go wrong.

These speakers are great, but since they only connect to USB they drain your computer’s power. My Macbook could not take the abuse any longer, the speakers stopped working in less than a year. I was very bummed out and could not get them to work anymore.
