Like many others, I assumed there was no internal memory in this frame, it’s not mentioned anywhere in the very sparse instructions or in the packaging, but I actually found it by accident. From main menu select your flash media, go into edit mode, then select the picture you want to copy by pressing the last button (check mark), then press the second button (copy) it actually works! Don’t forget to delete the factory pics of the stuffed animals, for that go into edit mode while internal memory is active, select unwanted pics with the last button (check mark) then press the second button (trash can). Once you have your pictures copied to internal memory it will go into slide-show mode automatically, albeit with no random mode.

The display is about what I would expect from such a cheap frame, it even preserves aspect ratio when zoom mode is selected, a nice plus, but what I didn’t expect is the fact that the clock and calender looses it’s memory when the device is shut off. Date is reset to Jan/01/2008 and time resets to 12:00. If anyone has a fix for that I would love to hear it. I have even gone as far as disassembling the unit thinking maybe there was a lithium battery inside that had died, no such luck.

I assumed based on the description “8mb internal memory” that I would be able to copy photos to an internal drive. Not so… and the product packaging and instructions do not reference any sort of internal memory. A memory card or USB flash drive is required to display photos. Still, not a bad price for the product – but it would have been nice to know I would have to purchase a separate memory card (this is a gift) for the product to work BEFORE I ordered it.

This frame is great. It doesn’t have all the elegance of some of the frames as it does have a simple look with the black frame. But, the picture is great and compares as well if not better than the 7″ Coby and 7″ Westinghouse frames I’ve bought before! And for the price, DON’T HESITATE!!!!!!! I had this frame loaded with pictures in a matter of minutes without evening getting out the instructions, long story short, user friendly!

Unbeatable price, just received it. The only thing that is nice is the package. The image quality is terrible, buttons are not well designed, the menu lacks clarity and sometime the images will freeze during the loop. I also own a Pandigital and it is so much better in all aspects. Stay away from this one! I am returning it.

Not only is there no section in the “directions” about how to access the internal memory , but I had ordered a flash memory card with it but they were out of stock. Now I want to try this with just it’s small internal memory before I spend more money after bad.
After what I’m sure will be a very interesting tech support call, I think I’ll be returning this item.
Bye the way, ANTOnline.com has terrific prices on their own site, but exhorbitant shipping rates to make up for that.
