Very disappointed – I’m not sure whether this was really new as advertised. It had marks on the gold connection plates. It worked OK for a few days and then my BB started shutting off and restarting. I replaced it and the BB works fine again. I thought the price was a bit too good to be true…

I DO BELIEVE THESE ARE REFURBISHED BATTERIES! For less than $1.50 I thought I was getting a steal, but in fact it was NOTHING like that. I have had my Blackberry for only 7 months and once I charged the batteries, it only last in my phone for a good hour if that and runs down very fast during non-talk time. Please pay more for your batteries because it is VERY FRUSTRATING trying to charge these batteries and then after having it on the charger for “6 DARN HOURS” it only had a half of a charge! The kicker is one of the batteries stayed on the charger ALL NIGHT AND NEVER CHARGED! I will not waste my money again. WISH YOU LUCK IF YOU GO THIS ROUTE.

They state in the description that this is a genuine battery. It feels lighter than the OEM battery, and also has a different label on it that you can tell someone just printed out and slapped on the battery to make it look genuine. The battery life is terrible. This battery doesn’t get half the life of a 2 year old original battery. The reason I purchased this was because my original battery was on its way out and didn’t hold the same charge it used to, SURPRISE: this battery’s life is even worse! But what do you expect for $2? I’ve had good luck with knock-off batteries for my Canon DSLR and other items, but this one is a waste of time. I wouldn’t take another one if it was given to me for free.

I was wary when I saw the low price, but this battery is identical to the original battery. It charges a bit faster than my original does now, but it seems to hold a charge for just as long. Definitely the price being asked, although you will want to buy several to justify the nominal shipping charges.
