I purchased this product two years ago and not a month goes by I don't use it. Living in South Florida, storms crop up all the time. A minute of cranking and setting it on the NOAA station, I am immediately informed as to what is going on and what to expect. The reception inside my house is wonderful. I use it as my main radio in the house. I use the strap to hang this radio/flashlight on my kitchen wall next to the light switch making it very handy, as we have frequent power outages.

Please remember also, that this was produced with the Red Cross and includes a $.49-$1 being contributed to the American Red Cross with each sale. There is also an "Eco Edition" model that a contribution is made to OhRanger.com, that supports our National Parks. For more information on these contributions, you can go to: [...]

This is a little radio that can! It is easy to carry around (if you need to) and produces clear sound. The solar panel seems to be working well - I have not cranked it at all after receiving it and it always have sufficient power to run on.

I only wish it has digital tuning...

Compact, high build quality for price. Radio works fine for weather, but I wouldn't want to listen to music on it for very long. Crank doesn't feel like it'll break after 60 seconds. Three-LED flashlight is fairly bright for a small dynamo flashlight. Ordered the free cell phone adapter from Eton, but haven't been able to test that part yet.
