Product Description
Solar-Powered, Self-Powered AM/FM/Weatherband Portable Radio with Flashlight and Cell Phone Charger. The Microlink brings together some of the most popular features of our Voicelink, in a more compact design. This ultra-portable device is ideal to have on hand when you’re roughing it. It also makes a great addition to any emergency-preparedness kit. No plugs or wires are required. Instead, turn the hand crank to power the Microlink, or capture the sun’s energy and run it on solar power. You’ll always know what’s going on, thanks to the AM, FM and weather bands. You can also tune in to the FCC and EAS public alert systems. Add the flashlight, the cell phone charger and you’ve got one versatile little device.

Compact, high build quality for price. Radio works fine for weather, but I wouldn’t want to listen to music on it for very long. Crank doesn’t feel like it’ll break after 60 seconds. Three-LED flashlight is fairly bright for a small dynamo flashlight. Ordered the free cell phone adapter from Eton, but haven’t been able to test that part yet.

This is a little radio that can! It is easy to carry around (if you need to) and produces clear sound. The solar panel seems to be working well – I have not cranked it at all after receiving it and it always have sufficient power to run on.

I only wish it has digital tuning…

I purchased this product two years ago and not a month goes by I don’t use it. Living in South Florida, storms crop up all the time. A minute of cranking and setting it on the NOAA station, I am immediately informed as to what is going on and what to expect. The reception inside my house is wonderful. I use it as my main radio in the house. I use the strap to hang this radio/flashlight on my kitchen wall next to the light switch making it very handy, as we have frequent power outages.

Please remember also, that this was produced with the Red Cross and includes a $.49-$1 being contributed to the American Red Cross with each sale. There is also an “Eco Edition” model that a contribution is made to OhRanger.com, that supports our National Parks. For more information on these contributions, you can go to: [...]
