Product Description
Ever since the introduction of the first and only 7-day alarm clock in December 2004, American Innovative has been logging feature requests and product improvement suggestions from our customers. Nearly every aspect of the neverlate executive is fully customizable. We’ve introduced the concept of alarm banks – three in all. The two 7-day banks provide two, completely independent seven-day wake schedules – his and hers for example. In addition, we’ve included a daily reminder bank. We are also pleased to introduce the first-ever preferences menu in a clock radio. Everything from the backlight brightness, to the alarm duration is fully adjustable. Wake to NPR news at 7:00am weekdays, your Saturday morning talk show on a different station and the buzzer on Sunday. There’s no other clock radio in the world with this capability. Line-in, headphone jack and more – a powered USB port on the back accommodates an electric fan or laptop boom lamp. Each time you hit the snooze button the snooze time is cut in half until finally the neverlate executive won’t let you snooze any more. You can even disable the tempting snooze button. |

This alarm clock is awsome.. I wasn’t going to spend that much for one but I thought I would give it a shot. I got tired of all the cheap clocks not working after a while… This clock is perfect for me and my family. We can set up to 7 alarms to go off everyday. We usually just set two at a time but you can preset 7 and turn them off and on when needed without having to change the times each time. I would buy this item again!

I’ve been looking for an alarm clock with flexible settings and a not-too-bright display. While the Neverlate Executive looks like it will fit the bill, they’re not being shipped now. Perhaps the delay is to address some of the problems mentioned by one or more reviewers. Or maybe they just sold out over the holidays. One thing I understand is not changing is the color. I can just hear my spouse asking me if my goal had been to find the ugliest alarm clock possible.

This is a great alarm clock. The alarms are all very easy to set and there is a great deal of flexibility in how you can set up each of the 2 daily alarms. The one downfall to this clock is how long it takes to set the time. If you use the click wheel it sounds like your grinding meat, and if you use the + or – button it takes forever. But once this clock is set its a great addition to anyone’s life who has an alternating schedule.

I have a variable schedule and and have been looking for years for an alarm clock with all these features and conveniences.
I am very, very happy with this clock! Got it for xmas ’08 and have been using it since. I think, for the price, the build quality is excellent, and the functionality truly out of this world!
Great features:
User selectable alarm sound, volume,
Good sounding radio. I feed audio in on the aux input and it sounds fine.
The layout of the controls and the personalization of the unit is very straightforward once you have gone through the quick setup sheet.
I would highly recommend this product, and look forward to seeing other products coming out of this company.

I really like the styling and sound quality of this radio. And it worked properly , long enough for me to throw away the box, then the alarms quit working. I can unplug it, and pull the battery, then start over and it will work till I turn the alarm off the first time, then its off for good. I would recommend a Sony from walmart for a fourth the cost.

If I could give this product 0 stars I would.
Silly me for ordering such a useless and defective product. I wanted an alarm clock that would be easy and reliable to program various waking schedules throughout the week to fit my busy schedule. However, how coincidental that the Neverlate Executive Alarm clock stopped working 100 days after I purchased the product cancelling my 90-day warranty. Time and time again, the alarm would either:
1) wake me up one to two hours before it was originally set or,
2) the alarm never went off causing me to be late or miss appointments.
In conclusion, the thought was there but the technology wasn’t. Avoid this product and buy yourself something cheaper and more reliable.

This is the clock for students and professors! If you have a class schedule that requires different wake up hours each day, this is a must have!
You can set the clock for 8:00 on Monday, 9:00 on Tuesday, 7:00 on Wednesday — you get the picture. The setup takes getting use to. There is a inner knob for the day of the week, Then you rotate the outer knob to set the time.
If you had used the earlier model, you found the station tuner was analog and a bit hard to use. The digital tuner is much more friendly. Also, the LCD panel is much brighter and easier to read.

This was bought and given as a Christmas gift. The person who it was given to said that it has worked wonderfully so far and has every gadget and setting and anything you could think of. They were very pleased with the multiple ways of setting the alarm.

I have owned this clock for about 8 months and one day it just froze up. Nothing would work. One might figure that when paying $60+ for an alarm clock it would give you years of service. I have bought cheap alarm clocks from retail stores and paid $10-$15 and they have lasted 5+ years before the need for replacement. The features were nice of this alarm clock and it was loud, that is why I bought it, But the quality is just not there. I will go back to buying cheap alarm clocks. Don’t waste your money on this alarm clock.

This alarm clock could have been 5 stars but it has some major problems. The biggest problem is that the Alarm Off button is right behind the Snooze button. There have been several occasions where I woke up late because I accidentally turned off the alarm when I meant to snooze. They could have easily programmed one of the buttons in the rear to be the alarm off button.
Another problem is that this clock does not automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time. I would expect such a feature in a $60 alarm clock.
Like I said, there are many good things to say about this alarm clock (easy to setup, multiple alarms, turn off LCD, skip next alarm) but the problems I mentioned need to be resolved to justify spending so much on an alarm clock.

The one this clock advertises is done remarkably well! The multiple settings are great. You can bypass an alarm if you hold down the off button. This is great for the days when my wife does not have to get up after me.
But!
Materials are cheap – it is lightweight and feels like it could break easily. The bezel control is a bit of a joke – they could eliminate it and the clock would be exactly the same with the button control – the bezel is too touchy anyway.
The backlight is ridiculous. Even in the lowest setting it gives off enough of a blue glow that you feel you are sleeping inside a smurf. We actually turned the backlight off altogether which means I never know what time it is when I wake during the night. If the clock was next to my bed I could hit the snooze button and it would light for a few moments but my bedroom is too small to keep a night table next to the bed. If they really wanted to make a single improvement they would revert to the old LED display.
Still – the darn thing works so well that I wouldn’t give it up.
